Laura LONDON

-Miss Laura LONDON has left the case in the Avalanche office where she had become an expert compositor, and gone to her farm in Maple Forest, proposing to engage in chicken culture. She will be missed from her place here, but goes with best wishes of hosts of friends. (30 Apr 1908)

-Miss Laura LONDON was down from her farm in Maple Forest the first of the week. She has her new house nearly ready for occupancy, and she expects to have a lot of fun and big crops, with her Grandfather and Grandmother OAKS to keep her straight at her work. (28 May 1908)

-Frank DECKROW has purchased a farm in the hardwood which Mr. OAKS, his father-in-law, will move on in a short time. (17 May 1894)

-Died-July 13th, Chas. OAKS, aged 17 years, of paralysis of the heart. The deceased was a brother of Hugh OAKS, of this place, and Mrs. F. R. DECKROW of Maple Forest. The funeral services were held here, Tuesday. (17 Jul 1902)

-SOUTH BRANCH NOTES.
Frank GREGORY has completed a cement bridge over the South Branch at the place known as the Stekert bridge. Last year he built one at the Chase bridge place. These are lasting monuments to Mr. GREGORY's skill. (30 Sep 1909)
