Married at the Catholic church last Tuesday morning Miss Anna JENDRON and Mr. Earnest RICHARD. The young couple went to Bay City in the afternoon for a short stay, they will make their future home here. (11 Apr 1907)

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest RICHARDS had the misfortune to lose their infant, which only lived about one hour. (10 Dec 1908)

EDITOR AVALANCHE:
I learn that I informed you erroneously in my last communication, either Mr. W. T. LEWIS or myself having been victimized by some unscrupulous joker. In regard to the twins I came "within one of it" owing to the veracity ? of my informant. I trust the public and Mr. LEWIS too, will forgive me for disappointing them. (8 May 1884)

-W. T. LEWIS has purchased the store and dwelling formerly occupied by M. D. OSBAND, at Frederic. Mr. OSBAND now lives at Lansing. (28 May 1891)

Rose LEWIS

-The marriage of Miss Laura L. LEWIS to Roy R. CLINE, a prominent jeweler of Rose City, Mich., was solemnized by the Rev. Edward DYNES of Rose City, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. LEWIS, in Frederic Dec. 26 at 8 o'clock, p. m. They were attended by Miss Rose LEWIS, sister of the bride as bridesmaid and Mr. Harry BUCK, groomsman. The bride wore a gown of white Mousseline silk, trimmed Irish Point lace and carried a boquet of Bride Roses. The floral decorations were Roses, Carnations and Smilax. After the ceremony abounteous repast was served and the happy couple left immediately for a wedding trip to the south. Mr. and Mrs. CLINE will be at home after Jan. 10th at Rose City. Mrs. CLINE has always lived at Frederic and by her sunny disposition has endeared hereself to her many friends who join in hearty congratulations and best wishes for their future happiness and prosperity. David MARTIN

The following information extracted from the Grayling, Crawford Co., MI Newspaper Avalanche. NOTE: The date at the end of each extract indicates the date of the publication:
-A letter from David MRTIN to the Grange who left Pere Cheney about two weeks ago states that he arrived in eight days from here to Dallas, Texas. All was pleasant on the road, except some tedious waiting at connecting points, and disapointment because his family did not arrive but instead, a letter from his wife saying that their little girl, Maud, was taken with scarlet fever in Illinois, and would have to remain in quarantine two weeks. He seems to be well pleased with the country, and especially its fruit prospects. Land from 9 to 125 dollars per acre. We shall hear from him again when he is settled. (11 Apr 1907)
