These photographs were all contained in a small (4 by 5 inch) photo album with the name "Maria W. Hager" inscribed.  The album was passed to Fred Stoliker in a box of materials that PROBABLY came from Phebe Ann BARNAMAN Keller Kelley Purchase Owen (Phebe BARNAMAN was Fred Stoliker's and Louis Ward's great - grandmother and was married four times).  We will include PROBABLE identification and PROBABLE dates for some of the pictures initially.

We think that the pictures are of people who lived in Genesee, Livingston and Oakland Counties Michigan. More specifically in the area of Argentine, Howell, Gaines and Mt. Pleasant Michigan.  The earliest photo probably dates to 1855 while others may be as late as the 1880s. (NOTE: Further speculation could include the counties of Crawford and Shiawasssee) .
